Behind The Forbidden Love

[Third Person’s POV]



Seunghyun walked along the aisle alone… people stared at him as he walks… some of them are wondering why the wedding is so late to begin… once he reached the altar, he grabbed one of the mics as he sighed deeply… Sadness can be seen in his eyes but he remained calm and strong…



“Ladies and gentlemen… I’m sorry to say this but the wedding has been cancelled…” The church filled with noise… Seunghyun’s family stood up and can’t believe what he just told… he didn’t explain any further but just walk away…



He walked outside and there he cried… he doesn’t care if he looked weak… he loves Dara so much… being with her forever would be the greatest dream that could ever came true… but he can’t be selfish… he knows that Dara wouldn’t be happy with him… Sacrificing his love for her would be the only thing that could make her happy…



As he was drown into his own sadness… someone not from afar was watching him… she slowly walked up to him thinking that he needs someone that could heal his wounded heart… just someone who could stay by his side for him to feel that he’s not alone…



She had loved him since the first day they met but she kept it a secret for she knows he loves someone else… when she knew that he’ll be married to her friend, it was like stabbing her heart a million times… she was surprised when he cancelled the wedding at first she wanted to be happy… but now that he’s suffering, she can’t take to watch him in pain…



She touched his shoulder as he kept on sobbing not knowing that someone’s has been watching him… he felt her touch so he quickly wiped his tears and pretend to be okay… he turned around to see her…




“Bom…” he said as the she wiped the remaining tears on his cheeks




“She’s gone now… I’m sorry if I have bothered everyone…” he said he cant help but to pour more tears…




“Tabi… don’t worry… you love her so much but still you let her go… you had a chance to be with her but you chose to give way… you don’t have to be sorry for all of that…” she said as she hugged him… he was surprised but then hugged her back… he truly needs someone now… just the warmth of her hug made him feel calm…




“Thanks…” he said… she wanted to tell him she loves him but she thought that this wouldn’t be the right time… she knows that there will still be another time for her to express her love… but now all she needs to do is to be with him even just for a while…

Fire started to spread… burning fuel could be smelled around the area… people tried to rescue the lovers inside the wrecked car but they couldn’t come close… they are screaming for help while some of them already called the rescuers… but it seems impossible to rescue the lovers because of the fire surrounding the car…




Both of them are in deep sleep… waiting for what will happen… not wanting each other to feel the excruciating pain that will come a while…maybe this is the punishment for their forbidden love… maybe this is the chance that god has been planning to give them… dying in each others arms not wanting to let go….




The fire is slowly trailing towards the car… any minute it would devour the whole car… people around couldn’t do anything but to wait for the rescuers and pray that the people inside could survive…




It seems the heavens answered their prayers… the skies slowly darkened… wind started to blow… and rain started to fall down…. Little by little the fire had been washed out… Maybe God pitied their love… maybe he’s giving them a chance to straight things up… or maybe this is the chance they’ve been waiting for…




After a while sounds of sirens could be heard… at last the rescuers came… they washed out the remaining fire and once everything is cleared the heavens started to calm down and hid its darkness…




Slowly the rescuers recovered their bodies… both breathing and still fighting for their lives… their hands were tightly locked with each other really not wanting to let go… people around them can’t help but to cry on what they were seeing… the rescuers tried their best to save them… even they don’t want them to let go of the lovers they must for them to be saved them…




Both of them are in the midst of death and life… the doctors did everything to save them… their family and friends started to come wondering what happened and why are they together… the doctors manage to save both of them but they’re still in deep sleep…




Sounds of cries could be heard along the corridor of the hospital… all of them are praying for the lovers to wake up…




Dara’s father don’t have any idea of what’s happening… while her mom’s shock of what happened… she didn’t realize that everything would end up like this… Seunghyun and Bom were also there along with Youngbae and Daesung… Seunghyun couldn’t believe that until now the lovers still need to suffer like that…




“What exactly happened…? I can’t understand this… why is Dara with Jiyong…? First the wedding has been cancelled and now this…!” Dara’s dad said out of anger and confusion…




Everyone looked at him… realizing that he still don’t know what’s between them… Mrs Park realized that everything should be settled now… she did a great mistake that turned out risking both of the lovers’ lives…




“It’s all my fault… if I didn’t stop them… If I didn’t go between them… this wouldn’t happen…” she said as she broke on her tears… her husband came to her




“What…? What do you mean…?” he asked




“Mr. Park… both Dara and Jiyong loves each other… I cancelled the wedding because I know that Dara loves him… I know it’s wrong but please give them a chance….” Seunghyun finally spoke as he held onto Bom’s hand seeking for strength…




Mr. Park was shocked… but after a while regained his calm… he told everyone to leave first and let him and his wife to have a talk…After everyone left… he turned to his wife… he can’t help but to feel angry…




“You knew everything about this…? And you didn’t even tell me…!” He said angrily… Mrs. Park cant help but to cry more




“I’m sorry… I didn’t realize that everything would turn out like this… I just don’t want this family to be ruined… they are in the same family... people would criticize and condemn them…” she said while crying




“Them…? Or yourself…? You know that they are not related… how come you could do this to them…” Mr. Park said




“ It would ruin this family…! People would start talking about us…” she reasoned out… Mr. Park couldn’t believe his wife… he knows that Dara and Jiyong are not related… Dara’s the fruit of his wife’s unfaithfulness but still he loves Dara like her own child because he knew he couldn’t have a child of his own… he loves his wife so despite of the unfaithfulness she committed, he still welcomed her back…




“Are you sure that you care about this family… or it’s just that you don’t want people to know about the unfaithfulness you did long time ago…” he said… Mrs. Park quickly looked at him.




“It’s not that…. They’re still family even if they’re not related….” She said… Mr. Park curled his fist suppressing his anger… he knows that what he said is the real reason… how could she do it to her own daughter… he couldn’t believe that his wife is as selfish as before…




“You’re so selfish… for once… can’t you think not for yourself…? Look at them… this was all because of your selfishness… you did all of these just to cover up for your own mistakes… I feel like I’ve done something wrong for still accepting you back then…” he said… It hit her… everything sunk on her again… she was really selfish… she couldn’t believe she done those things to her daughter… and now it’s impossible to bring back time for her to correct her deeds…




“I’m sorry… I’m sorry…” is all that she could say as she drowns herself into tears again… Mr. Park knew that his wife really felt sorry now but still he couldn’t make himself not to blame her for everything… now that they don’t even know if the lovers would still be able to regain from their deep sleep…
